Golden Dressage

The DRESSAGE discipline is primarily characterised by the balance between the horse’s physical-sportive performance and its psychological behaviour, in order to obtain maximum physical performance, strong joints, elasticity of tendons and ligaments, optimum consistency of hooves, ability to recover during effort (rehydration), harmony and range of movement, as well as the metabolic capacity to meet all these requirements.

Behind the genetic characteristics which prioritize the choice of horse specimens for DRESSAGE, lie physical preparation and nutrition requirements.

The keys to success are an easy digestion, assisted on most compromised areas (e.g. mouth and stomach), by employing extrusioned and/or cooperized raw materials which allow for a maximum digestibility, together with the use of diets which have a balanced percentage of extracts/fodder.

Proteins (essential amino acids), energy supplied by unstructured heat-treated maximum digestibility carbohydrates, together with the energy provided by highly digestible long fibers (fodder) and essential fatty acids (including omegas, needed for cellular metabolism), would not be able to perform their function effectively without a balanced supply of maximum digestibility vitamins and minerals. Without them, a partial (and therefore incomplete) digestion will take place, leading to an overload of undigested nutrients (proteins and carbohydrates) with unforeseeable pathological consequences.

Our GOLDEN DRESSAGE feed combines all above-mentioned properties (quality of nutrients, digestibility and balance) required to meet maximum levels of sporting activity.

FEEDING DIRECTIONS

For competition and/or training horses, supply from 3.5 to 4.5 kg in a maximum of 2 daily meals together with quality hay/fodder on demand (average hay/fodder intake: 6 to 7 kg daily).
